I am a community musician and artist with a passion for inclusion. My work is all about involving those who face barriers accessing the arts and heritage to take their rightful place. Music belongs to everyone and my practise as a social artist democratises access to music and performance by way of sharing what I can do and encouraging others to do the same.
I have a portfolio career that keeps me busy and happy but being of service, clean ethics and inclusion are the drives behind all of my work.
I also performFrench music from the ’40s at intimate venues across London and survivor poetry gigs. I am available for weddings, parties and birthdays and accept bookings from all over the world.
I am a strong believer in the power of music to heal and encourage.
I have always been a performer since my childhood, which I spent immersed in French and Tunisian culture.
In 1996, I taught myself the guitar and joined Daniel Jeanrenaud on the road, busking for a living in Paris, Geneva and London under the name ‘the Troublemakers’.
After taking some time out to raise my two children, I picked up music again and I now run music groups in museum, galleries and community settings, often for early years/families and older people with dementia.
